The joys of the water on a camping holiday

Secure swimming pool and paddling pool

Take an afternoon nap in the shade of the parasols by the pool…

There is a great swimming pool at the Camping Coin Charmant with a separate paddling pool to ensure the safety of your little ones. Chairs and sun loungers are available to use.

The swimming pool is open from April to September from 10am to 8pm and sometimes later in the evening for a unique experience under the starry sky…

The pool area is completely enclosed, in accordance with current regulations, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

There is an access to the pool for people with reduced mobility.

For your safety and the safety of others, we ask you to respect the rules displayed at the entrance to the pool (swim shorts are compulsory, food and drink are forbidden, etc.).

Direct access to the river

The 3-star Coin Charmant campsite is in a natural environment that is classified Natura 2000 with direct access to the Ardèche river, it’s heaven on earth.

The river is just a few metres away from the campsite. You can peacefully set up your fishing rod here and wait patiently for the smelt, trout, carp or even pike to bite! Don’t forget to get a fishing permit which is compulsory and valid for the whole of the Ardèche, even for children.

Otherwise, you can just enjoy the soothing sounds of the river, your feet in the water or your head in a good book, relax in the sun or observe the plant and animal species around you.

Children can go exploring with their nets, and might catch a glimpse of some aquatic animals such as beavers, frogs, herons, kingfishers, wild ducks, etc.

Enjoy the simple pleasures in life at the Le Coin Charmant campsite in southern Ardèche, with a stone skimming competition or building sandcastles!

To cool off, there’s nothing better than taking a dip in the river! This is easy at the Le Coin Charmant campsite because the river is very shallow in parts and ideal for playing and splashing about.

For the more daring, you could let the current carry you down the river on an inflatable ring or hire a paddle-board from the campsite (reservations at the reception).

And if you want to know all our favourite places to go for a swim, come and ask us! We’ll reveal them to you!
